About Ginkgo Balboa:

This group was founded by Mike Bednarsky and Ben Masbum in 2019. The group had 8 singles between their self titled EP in 2020, and their upcoming EP ‘Balloon Duty’, they developed a following in praise of the contemporary sound, which is rooted with a catchy synth keyboard melodies, intricate guitar trills, and the pinballing vocals of Ben and Mike. The group has pushed the envelope by seamlessly drawing influence from a variety of music genres, but never stepping away from the pop-genre & sensibilities that gives the band the Millennium/Gen-Z appeal.

About 'Balloon Duty':

This EP promises to keep listeners on their chlorine-scented toes. It is pretty much a sequel to their debut self-titled EP, it is a relaxed-yet-earnest revolver of synth-soaked tunes. This EP is also the ultimate summer soundtrack, bursting with effervescent melodies and funky rhythms that capture the glowing warmth of the California sun. As always, the duo dives into the depths of romance, tackling the emotional waves that come with love, dating, and relationships.
