The Featured Artist of the Week is JXDED!
JXDED (formerly known as JFJBeats) is a Filipino-Canadian artist/producer based in Canada who has over 1,000 monthly listeners on Spotify & over 1,988 Followers on Instagram. His first song that he put out was ‘Sayonara’ (released: June 18, 2022) which he performed at his high school’s Rolling Loud concert (organized by him and 4 other schoolmates of his) & he also performed another song (which dropped August 21, 2022) ‘Left Right (Feat. Kanii)‘ on stage, and as a fellow schoolmate of his, I felt like the energy from the start of his set wasn’t present while he was performing his tunes, but by the end of his performance, he got a lot of engagement with the audience/fellow schoolmates.
After he graduated from high school (back in June of 2022) he didn’t stop creating music, he continued to create more tunes (and demos for other artists) and later on, release three other songs within the course of 2-3 months; which included ‘Winter Company (feat. kkanji)’, ‘Superman (feat. Kanii)’, and ‘Doubted’. After 2022 ended, JFJBeats changed his stage name to JXDED & he wanted to try to experiment with other genres (such as R&B) and incorporate the genre into his style of music, so in February of 2023, he released a tune called ’Better Now’.
