Q&A With charlieonnafriday:

What inspired you to write this amazing Debut album?

This album- some of the songs are 2 years old, some of them have been wrapped about a month ago, and I think that any human being is going to go through the highs and lows within 2 years, and I wrote these songs in different times when I was in different headspaces and I think that what I was going through at the time, wrote about whether it was ‘i was upset about this…’ or ‘we were in the club popping bottles in Nashville’ and I think that its important to stay authentic

Since this is your first headline US tour, which city are you most looking forward to performing in?

I think I am excited about the Denver, CO show.

Your Wikipedia page says you've been credited as one of the driving forces in Seattle's modern hip-hop sound. For those who don't know, what makes your hometown's sound unique?

It's hard to think about it - Seattle music is unique and has a grungy vibe, but Macklemore and Lil Mosey are the artists who kind of made the hip-hop scene in Seattle more authentic as there are different lanes of Seattle hip-hop scenes.

Your roster of collabs and opening-act billings is impressive, but do you have any celebrities or singers that you're absolutely dying to work with soon?

Post Malone since I have been a fan since I was younger.
