About LÉA THE LEOX:

LÉA (“Lay-Uh”) THE LEOX is the up-and-coming artist you don't want to miss. Born in Brockton, MA to musician parents, LÉA was immersed in the music industry since childhood. Their influence contributed to her captivating presence in the studio and on stage; LÉA recalls that growing up she spent a lot of time at rehearsals and studio sessions. It shaped my love for music and showed me the amount of work required to become successful”. LÉA graduated from Berklee College of Music and moved to LA to pursue her own artistry. Throughout her previous releases she was covered in numerous publications including Creator’s Club, Fashionably Early, Modrn Nation, Daily Chiefers and more. She was also featured on the front cover of Loading Magazine and Brain Bakery Magazine.

About the song:

This song is the second and title track of her anticipated Debut EP, Purpose. With stunning visuals, cinematic soundscapes and impressive lyrical prowess, LÉA creates an emotional cathartic journey. This “emotionally beautiful” Creator’s Club track has generated significant attention across placements, press, and social media including charting for several weeks on the discovery-oriented DSP,

Audiomack. Starting with the opening line “Just wanna be here in this moment”, the song reveals vulnerability with the scarcity of musical elements. Throughout the song, LÉA is the subject of this story. However, after an emotional string interlude, LÉA surrenders ownership of the narrative and sings directly to the listener in a "captivatingly intimate" vocal performance. LÉA states “The meaning of this song is fueled by the love that I get from my family.”

Review Of The Song:

This song has a soothing vibe and is so inspirational. For the fact that the song was fueled by the love and appreciation that she gets from her family is so sweet that everyone should understand that their inspiration for everything (or some of the things) that they want to do is from your first best friends (your family) & that everything that you do are inspired or for your family and for your aspirations in life (Whether it is for the thing that you want to do or the things that you want to have in life; like a bucket list or list of things that you want to do).
