About Lissi Bos:

Emerging as a singer-songwriter from Brisbane,
Australia, Lissi Bos is ready to take the world by storm with her debut single, “Just Be”, set to release on April 10th, 2023. Like many artists, Melissa found her voice at a young age by joining her local church and performing Whitney Houston's Body Guard album in her living room every week. This ignited her love of music and spent her formative years mesmerized by Boys II Men music videos and drawn to the sonic sensibility of Mariah Carey. It wasn’t long before she began voice lessons to become classically trained as she fine-tuned her soulful haunting vocals.
About 'Just Be':

Her upcoming debut single “Just Be” is an audible amalgamation of Lissi Bos’s lifelong journey with music with the soft piano undercurrent flowing through dreamy beats. Her lyrics grow with the song from a place of melancholy to blossom into a resounding message of hope. The sonic structure of “Just Be” mirrors Melissa’s own soul-searching sojourn of breaking free from the weight of inner turmoil and finding peace, particularly in the bridge where her church upbringing is evident by the choir-like vocals. In addition to serving as a compelling message of hope for those who are battling their own darkness, “Just Be” also brings awareness to the importance of mental health. Fans can expect “Just Be” to be released on April 10th, 2023, and big things to come from this fresh Aussie artist.
What I thought of 'Just Be':
This song has a soothing vibe to it, and has an interesting meaning behind it and leaves a message of hope and spreads awareness to the importance of mental health. Adding on to that, it has a gospel-vibe to it (therefore it is like a mix of gospel-meets-R&B music).
