About Brooke Sause:

Brooke is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter based in South Florida, who began writing songs at a young age with her sister, Breana. She began releasing singles that she and her sister wrote together in 2021, and the journey brought her to New York, where she was able to explore the fun behind creating songs & it has propelled her journey of creating her debut EP. Brooke gets inspiration from artists such as Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo & Gracie Abrams. Her music is filled with infectious-pop melodies, emotional ballads and the heartbreaking journey of a teenage girl in love. She is currently juggling law school and a budding music career, but she is a young talent with very impressive aspirations and a steadfast determination.

About ‘How Long’:

It is a stunning ballad about searching for clarity in the aftermath of a heartbreak. Brooke stated that the song is “about going through the memories and reanalyzing every details and facet of the relationship, trying to pinpoint where the lies began.”, she added that ”While reflecting, you think of all the moments and signs you ignored because you were too in love to be logical.” ‘How Long’ was co-written with her sister, Breana, this song fuses her flair for pop-flavoured melodies and a gentle, acoustic driven instrumentation

What I thought about the song:

It has a ballad-meets-pop genre & is a good song to listen to if you want to re-analyze the details of a relationship that you were or you are in and to analyze the moments where you were so in love that you ignored the moments and signs that were present while in that relationship.
