Oh the Philippines, the country that's known for its stunning natural beauty, including beautiful beaches, rice terraces, and unique geological formations like the Chocolate Hills. But to me, the Philippines is like a home away from home as I have a lot of relatives.
Day 1: Flight to the Philippines from YYZ to MNL
The flight schedule was constantly changing.. especially when it was 12 hours before the flight. Me and my family arrived to the airport around 4 PM (eastern time) and waited 6 hours before checking in. While we waited, I grabbed some starbucks, and as i was about to order the summer berry lemonade refresher, they said that they were out of the popping boba, i was so confused, so i decided to order the usual mango dragonfruit lemonade refresher. After me and my family checked in, we waited and got Tim Hortons, and took quick washroom breaks.
Day 2: Delayed Flight? | Arrive in CGY
As we landed in the Philippines, before the connecting flight, we had to go to the arrivals area and notify the workers which luggage is our luggage, before taking the shuttle to the next terminal. And as we arrived to the terminal of the said-'next flight', the person at the front desk said that we missed the flight. We were all confused as the ticket from when we checked in says that there was a 9 hour layover when the check-in desk worker said that in their system its different.
As me and my family arrived to CGY, it was already 6 in the evening (Philippines Time), and as we arrived we had to wait for our luggage as we arrived late and it was a very tight flight. And our relatives (from my moms side) picked us up from the airport as we had so much luggages (including our dog | as medium sized dogs are classified as 'extra baggage').
