About Old Moll:
Old Moll is an indie-folk singer-songwriter from the UK. She has played extensively in both Bristol and South Wales; including a headline show at the Louisiana (in Bristol), and opening the Folk stage at the 2023 Swansea Fringe Festival. For fans of Laura Marling and Nick Drake, the songs of Old Moll draw on the spirit of blues and folk, spanning across English and Welsh to evoke stories of folklore, family history, and the magic of the place. For the fans of Hannah Rose Platt, Gwenno, and PJ Harvey, Old Moll's newest song has an Ethereal, Melancholy vibe.

About 'Second Sleep'
Following her single 'Winter in the Summer Country', 'Second Sleep' (released March 25, 2024) features warm guitar & intimate, layered vocals. The song was inspired by the ancient ways of sleeping - a night-time period of wakefulness between a 'first' and 'second' sleep - this track transports to an other-worldly pocket of the dark.
What I Thought About The Single
Compared to her single 'Winter in the Summer Country', this song has a more out-of-this-world or other-worldly vibe like you have been sent to a different dimension (either a dark space or to an event that took place ~500 years ago).
